Tamim Sookoor

About Me

Tamim Sookoor is a researcher at JHU/APL, where his research interests include cyber physical systems (CPS), cyber security, the Internet of Things (IoT), and machine learning. He is leading the development of new technologies at the frontier of secure CPS and resilient smart cities.

Sookoor teaches graduate courses in JHU’s Engineering for Professionals programs, where he is the coordinator of the assured autonomy track and is a member of IEEE and ACM and the secretary for the Baltimore Area chapter of ACM.

Education & Industry Experience

Sookoor received his MS and PhD degrees in computer science from the University of Virginia.
