Education & Industry Experience

Huckett serves as interim associate dean of Lifelong Learning. Prior to this role, he worked as assistant dean of the Whiting School of Engineering, guiding the School’s strategic vision and planning for online learning, overseeing the administration of the Engineering for Professionals courses and programs, and ensuring the quality of the School’s online courses and programs.

Prior to this role, Huckett was co-owner and chief learning officer for Valeira, LLC, a consulting firm that provided solutions for web and mobile application development, marketing, and online learning. Most notably, Valeria worked with The Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center to create

organization that aimed at uniting the global game of soccer in the fight against cancer. Huckett also has experience playing and coaching professional soccer in England, the United States, and Australia.

Huckett received a BTEC National Diploma in Applied Science (Sports Studies), Grimsby Institute of Further And Higher Education, Grimsby, England. A BS in Management from Lock Haven University and an MS in Instructional Technology from Bloomsburg University. Paul has presented at numerous innovation conferences, University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA), Online Learning Consortium (OLC), and Society for Applied Learning Technology (SALT).
