Jason Crossland has over 16 years of military commissioned and civilian experience in the areas of cyber security engineering, information assurance, information systems, and information technology. Crossland served in the United States Air Force, where he was assigned to satellites, fiber-optics, and telecommunications networks, systems, and equipment. After completing degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering, he was direct commissioned into the United States Coast Guard, where he was assigned the duties of deputy of incident response branch for offensive and defensive cyber operations, deputy of contingency planning and readiness attainment, and deputy of risk management framework for unclassified and classified systems. He currently works at the John Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in the Critical Infrastructure Sector.
